The aim of the conference is to promote scientific and creative initiatives in maritime scientific research linking the research with the principles of sustainable development in maritime business and by engaging in applied research in various fields

The main aim of the conference is to create a meeting place for the exchange of the best innovative tendencies in education, debate and have an insight into the future.

 Maritime engineering;

  •  Maritime informatics;

  •  Management of maritime business;

  •  Maritime career;

  • Maritime education and training;

  •  International logistics;

  •  Interdisciplinary research.

Foreseen thematic points:

  • Modular system advantages in modern-day education;

  • Academic honesty;

  • Modern distance learning and e-learning;

  • Multi-disciplinary study programmes;

  • International and joint study programs – pros and cons;

  • Eco-innovations and green workplaces (in institutions/organizations); Eco-friendly and safer maritime transport;

  • Study process in water-transport-oriented educational institutions;

  • Reforms in maritime education

  • other relative subtopics.

Kindly invite the following representatives: scientists and researchers, students and their scientific supervisors, representatives of local and national governance, stakeholders of higher education, maritime business, and others interested.

All participants will be awarded an electronic certificate of attendance (a paper certificate will be available upon request)

The submitted and presented conference papers will be published in the peer-reviewed

conference proceedings in electronic format (LMA). Please check the requirements for the manuscript. 

After the conference, the abstracts of the presented topics/papers will be published in a special e-edition of the conference proceedings (LMC). Please check the requirements for the abstracts

All publications and abstracts should be written in English

Two kinds of participation are possible:

  • oral presentation + publication of abstract

  • oral presentation (only).
