ERASMUS+ MOBILITY

The Erasmus Programme is an European exchange programme established in 1987 offering a possibility of studying or working abroad in another country for a period of at least 3 months (2 months for trainings) and maximum 12 months. Erasmus+ aims to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe. 

Liepaja Marine College is taking part in Erasmus programme since 2014.

The Liepaja Marine College currently holds the European Union's (EU) Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for the Erasmus+ programme 2014-2021 and participate in Erasmus+ vocational education and training (VET) mobility.

Within the Erasmus+ programme Liepaja Marine College organize:
Student Mobility for studies and traineeship program between Programme Countries.
Staff Mobility for training program between Programme Countries. Mobility of academic and non-academic staff with the aim of attending training courses organized in foreign higher education institution, company or organization.

Liepaja Marine College looking forward to a successful cooperation with partners and to participate in the centralized actions of the Erasmus+ Programme.

LMC provides first level of higher professional maritime education in the following study programmes:

Mobility to LMC for studies:
The exchange students could choose 22-30 ECTS (for one semester) and 60 ECTS (for full academic year) course from the above-mentioned degree programmes.
*Before signing Learning Agreement for studies, please confirm your chosen subjects with LMC Erasmus+ Coordinator.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Applying for the exchange studies, the following documents are required:

The application documents should be sent to the LMC Erasmus coordinator:
by June 15th for the fall semester and whole academic year studies;
by November 30th for the spring semester studies.
